Wayla, the startup that provides the van pooling transport service, announces that as of 13 June 2025, the service is also active and available in the Monza and Brianza area on
Fridays and Saturdays, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., with 15-seater vans. With this geographical extension of its service, the Milanese start-up consolidates its strategy driven by the objective of improving the efficiency and safety of urban transport and reducing its environmental impact.
Wayla was created to respond to the increasing difficulty of getting around the city, especially in the evening hours, by proposing an alternative solution that complements the urban mobility options already available. Wayla’s service allows passengers to share journeys, reducing the number of vehicles on the road during the evening and night hours. Wayla is proposed as a convenient, safe and sustainable transport option.
Since the launch of the service last year, Wayla’s app has recorded more than 60,000 downloads.
“We are thrilled with the results so far and the reception our service has received. The expansion to Monza and Brianza is only the beginning, our goal is to bring Wayla to other Italian cities,’ say Carlo Bettini CEO and co-founder and Mario Ferretti co-founder of Wayla in a note. “We want to offer a sustainable and shared mobility solution to more people. We will continue to work to improve and grow, always putting the satisfaction of our users and the efficiency of urban transport first’.
